Laboratory for Physical Chemistry

• physical chemistry group:
  • catalytic reactions: kinetics, mechanism, kinetic isotope effects, ab initio qunatum chemical calculations;
  • physical and chemical properties of crystals: ab initio calculation of various quantities; application of Density Functional Theory;
  • electrochemical investigations of metals and alloys combined with the surface analysis techniques

Laboratory for Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry

• development of new methods and new reagents for selective inclusion of a fluorine atom into organic molecules under mild reaction conditions;
• study of the inluence of reagent structure, substrate and reaction conditions on the fluorination of organic molecules;
• cyral transformations of organic molecules caused by microorganisms;
